Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Commi 1 (Chinese) to prepare authentic Chinese dishes while maintaining quality, hygiene, and kitchen standards. The candidate should have experience in wok cooking, sauces, and Chinese food preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Chinese dishes as per standard recipes.
- Handle wok cooking, frying, steaming, and stir-frying.
- Prepare sauces, gravies, marinades, and stock.
- Cut and prepare vegetables, meat, and other ingredients.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Follow food safety and HACCP guidelines.
- Monitor stock and report shortages to the Chef.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain portion control.
- Assist in training junior kitchen staff when required.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience as a Commi 1 in the Chinese section.
- Good knowledge of Chinese cuisine and wok cooking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Based on experience) + Accommodation + Fooding
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,053.59 per month
