Position Summary
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff management of the hotel. The role requires strong leadership to ensure efficient hotel operations, high service standards, revenue growth, cost control, and compliance with company policies and hospitality standards.
The General Manager will lead all operational departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Security, and Sales to deliver exceptional guest experiences while achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities1. Hotel Operations Management
- Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
- Maintain high standards of guest service, cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper coordination between departments for seamless guest experiences.
- Monitor room occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall hotel performance.
- Conduct regular operational reviews and implement improvements where necessary.
- Ensure adherence to hotel SOPs and service standards.
3. Guest Relations & Service Excellence
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and handle escalated guest complaints professionally.
- Maintain strong guest relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Monitor online guest reviews and implement corrective actions when required.
- Ensure consistent delivery of quality hospitality services.
3. Staff Leadership & Human Resource Management
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate hotel employees.
- Develop a positive and professional work culture.
- Conduct staff performance evaluations and training programs.
- Ensure proper staffing levels and workforce planning.
- Enforce discipline, grooming, and company policies.
4. Sales & Business Development
- Drive room sales and increase hotel occupancy.
- Develop relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and online travel platforms.
- Support marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
- Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams.
5. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with local laws, hotel regulations, labor laws, fire safety, and hygiene standards.
- Maintain all statutory licenses and certifications.
- Ensure workplace safety and security for guests and employees.
- Conduct regular inspections for safety, maintenance, and quality assurance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in hotel operations.
- At least 3–5 years of managerial experience in the hospitality industry.
- Experience in managing a 3-star or similar category hotel preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: As per experience( 50,000 to 60,000 per month)
