Business Development Manager
Location: Pune (On Site)
Experience Required: 5–8 Years.
Industry: IT Services / Software Development / AI Solutions.
Employment Type: Full-Time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Strategy
- Drive end-to-end international business development for software and AI services.
- Identify new market opportunities, sales channels, and revenue streams.
- Develop and execute data-driven sales strategies aligned with company growth targets.
- Generate innovative sales ideas and AI-led go-to-market approaches.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Prospect, qualify, and close enterprise and mid-market global clients.
- Pitch custom software development, AI/ML solutions, automation, and digital transformation services.
- Build long-term strategic relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Manage contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and deal closure.
3. AI & Technical Sales Capability
- Understand and articulate AI models, automation workflows, and emerging technologies to clients.
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to design winning proposals.
- Translate client business problems into AI-enabled solutions.
- Stay updated on global AI trends, tools, and competitive landscape.
4. Sales Team Leadership
- Guide and mentor the BDE / sales team to achieve targets.
- Monitor pipeline health, forecasting, and performance metrics.
- Implement best practices in CRM usage, reporting, and conversion optimisation.
- Conduct sales training and strategy reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience
- 5–8 years of proven experience in IT services / software / AI sales.
- Demonstrated success in international client acquisition and revenue generation.
- Experience handling complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to closure.
- Required hands on experience on Apollo, Lusha, Clay, and Clutch.
Technical & Business Skills
- Strong understanding of: Custom software development lifecycle,AI/ML solutions, automation, and analytics. Cloud, web, and enterprise technologies, Ability to deliver impactful technical presentations and demos. Strong proposal writing, negotiation, and commercial acumen.
Leadership & Communication
- Experience in handling or mentoring a sales team.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a result-oriented mindset and ownership attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with the US, UK, Europe, or global markets.
- Exposure to AI-driven sales tools, CRM automation, or predictive sales models.
- Background in consultative or solution-based selling.
- MBA in Marketing / Business or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
