We are seeking an experienced Site
Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Data Center Engineering team at Level 3.
This role requires a technically strong and operationally mature engineer who
will help design, scale, and maintain the reliability of our physical and
virtual data center infrastructure. As a Level 3 SRE, you will be a technical
leader responsible for ensuring system uptime, optimizing capacity and
performance, and contributing to long-term infrastructure resiliency.
You will work cross-functionally with platform engineers, networking teams, and application owners to proactively identify failure points and implement preventative solutions.
You’ll also mentor junior engineers and act as an escalation point for high-priority
incidents and complex troubleshooting scenarios.
Total experience: 7 to 10 years
Key Responsibilities

Oracle database administration, which is responsible for the installation, testing, configuration, trouble shooting and maintenance of Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g,12c and 19c technologies.

Additionally, resource will assist for disaster recovery (DR) designing, planning, implementation processes.
·
Responsibility lies for configuring, managing, and reporting on all Oracle database Server environments including standalone and Clustered environments.
·
Train and mentor new database administrators on Oracle suite of products (11G, 12C, 18c, 19c) and troubleshooting techniques.
·
Make recommendations to improve performance or capacity of current environments.
·
Expertise on Disaster Recovery, Backup and recovery support.
·
Good experience on Oracle database migration.
·
Hands on experience with Golden Gate is essential
·
Good experience on backup and recovery using RMAN integrated with CommVault/NetApps.
·
Shell Scripting and automation with any tool is required.
·
Experience on PERL/Shell scriptingknowledge
will be an added advantage.

Experience in PostgreSQL is preferred.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering,
- Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technicalfield.
- 4-7 years of experience in database
- administration and operations.
- Experience participating in or leading incident
- response and postmortem analysis processes.
- Previous exposure to hybrid environments
- integrating on-premises data centers with public or private cloud platformsis desirable.
- Expertise

4-7 years Oracle DBA experience on installation, testing, commissioning, trouble
shooting on production and development servers.
- Skilled in performance tuning, RMAN
- backup/recovery, Data Guard, and security.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues
- and support mission-critical environments.
- 24/7 On call support needed
Shifts: CST time general shift
Location: Work from Home
Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
