Job Summary
An Orthopedic Surgery Orthopedic Surgeon is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders related to bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and the spine. The surgeon performs surgical and non-surgical procedures to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine patients and diagnose orthopedic conditions and injuries
- Review medical history, X-rays, MRI, CT scans, and laboratory reports
- Perform orthopedic surgeries such as fracture fixation, joint replacement, arthroscopy, and trauma surgeries
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Prescribe medications, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation plans
- Coordinate with physiotherapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Attend emergency trauma and accident cases when required
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and recovery process
- Follow hospital protocols, infection control, and safety standards
Qualification
- MBBS with MS/DNB in Orthopedics
- Valid Medical Council Registration
- Fellowship in Joint Replacement / Arthroscopy / Spine Surgery is an added advantage
Experience
- Fresher or experienced orthopedic surgeons can apply
- Experience in trauma care and orthopedic surgeries preferred

Pay: ₹13,870.75 - ₹106,358.70 per month
