Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher for Grades 6, 7, and 8 to join our school for the Morning Shift. The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment, deliver high-quality English instruction, and inspire students to develop strong language, communication, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Teach English language, grammar, literature, reading, writing, and comprehension to students in Grades 6, 7, and 8 using interactive and student-centered teaching methods.
- Develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Assess student progress through assignments, projects, tests, and classroom activities.
- Provide timely feedback and additional support to students who require it.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Encourage students to actively participate in classroom discussions, activities, and presentations.
- Maintain effective communication with students, colleagues, and parents when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, English Literature, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Previous teaching experience with middle school students (Grades 6–8) is preferred.
- Strong English communication and classroom management skills.
