Job Profile - PGT Physics
Job Description:
The PGT Physics Teacher will plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging physics lessons for senior secondary students. The ideal candidate fosters critical thinking, manages laboratory operations, and helps students excel in both board examinations and competitive tests (e.g., JEE or NEET).
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Design and execute structured lesson plans for Class 11 and 12 Physics, covering complex topics like mechanics, thermodynamics, and electromagnetism.
- Laboratory Management: Supervise practical physics sessions, enforce safety protocols, and guide students through scientific experiments.
- Student Assessment: Evaluate academic progress through assignments, projects, quizzes, and periodic tests.
- Exam Preparation: Prepare students for board exams and provide targeted for competitive entrance exams.
- Student Support: Provide extra coaching, address student doubts, and maintain regular communication with parents regarding academic performance.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Master's degree in Physics or a closely related field; Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.
- Experience: Typically requires 3-5 years of relevant senior secondary teaching experience.
- Skills: Strong conceptual clarity, proficiency with smart classroom technology, and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
