Project Experience: Minimum 100 MW+ Utility-Scale Ground Mounted Solar Projects
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Engineering with NEBOSH (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HSE function for utility-scale solar EPC projects and establish safety systems across project sites.
- Develop and implement HSE plans, procedures, SOPs, and safety standards as per project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, client requirements, and company safety policies.
- Monitor and guide site safety teams for implementation of safe work practices.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, toolbox talks, and training programs.
- Review Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessment, Method Statements, and Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Project, Quality, and Subcontractor teams to improve safety performance.
- Ensure compliance during high-risk activities such as:
- Electrical works and HT/LT activities
- Working at height
- Lifting operations
- Excavation and trenching
- Module installation and MMS activities
- Testing & commissioning
- Prepare and review safety reports, MIS, and HSE performance dashboards.
- Support client audits and statutory inspections.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Solar EPC construction safety practices.
- Experience in implementing HSE systems for large-scale solar projects.
- Knowledge of:
- PTW system
- HIRA/JSA
- Incident investigation
- Emergency response planning
- PPE management
- Safety audits and compliance documentation
- Good communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and safety reporting tools.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in managing safety for 100 MW+ ground-mounted solar projects.
- Experience handling multiple project sites and safety teams.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System.
- Experience with SECI, NTPC, SJVN, MSEDCL, and other utility-scale solar projects will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹43,719.18 - ₹70,755.20 per month
