Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to lead and oversee end-to-end construction projects from planning through execution and final handover. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in residential, commercial, or retail construction projects and possess strong leadership, planning, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complete project execution from planning to project handover.
- Prepare detailed project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage multiple construction sites simultaneously while ensuring timely completion.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress against approved timelines and budgets.
- Prepare procurement indents as per approved drawings and construction requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of materials, manpower, and machinery.
- Review construction drawings and resolve execution-related issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations, statutory approvals, and safety standards.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project costs and control budget overruns.
- Review contractor bills, work progress, BOQs, and project measurements.
- Manage contracts, variation orders, and project documentation.
- Conduct project review meetings with consultants, contractors, and management.
- Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports.
- Ensure proper coordination between design, procurement, finance, and execution teams.
- Resolve technical and operational challenges at site.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards.
- Lead, mentor, and manage engineers, site supervisors, contractors, and project teams.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
- Master's Degree in Construction Project Management is preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in construction project management.
- Experience handling residential, commercial, retail, or mixed-use construction projects.
- Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, execution, and quality management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Technical Skills
