About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive project and channel sales in the building materials industry. The ideal candidate should have strong field sales experience and an established network with architects, builders, contractors, interior designers, and dealers.
This role requires extensive client interaction, business development, and travel across Delhi NCR.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through field sales and client meetings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with architects, builders, contractors, interior designers, and dealers.
- Identify and convert new project opportunities.
- Conduct regular site visits and client presentations.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of meetings, follow-ups, and sales activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of field sales experience.
- Experience in Tiles, Sanitaryware, Bath Fittings, Marble, Granite, Plywood, Laminates, Paints, Cement, Steel, Hardware, Construction Materials, or Building Materials is preferred.
- Own vehicle is mandatory (four-wheeler preferred; two-wheeler acceptable).
- Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings across Delhi NCR.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Existing network with architects, builders, contractors, dealers, and interior designers.
- Strong experience in project sales, channel sales, or B2B field sales.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven.
- Good knowledge of the construction and building materials market.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
