Job Description
Ratnanjali Aerospace is looking for a Composite Technician to support the manufacturing and assembly of advanced UAV and aerospace composite structures. The candidate will work with materials such as carbon fiber, fiberglass, and hybrid composites to produce lightweight and high-strength components for drones and aerospace systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate composite parts using carbon fiber, fiberglass, and epoxy resin systems
- Perform hand layup, vacuum bagging, and resin infusion processes
- Prepare molds, tools, and surfaces before composite layup
- Trim, sand, and finish composite components to required tolerances
- Assist in manufacturing UAV fuselages, wings, propeller components, and structural parts
- Inspect composite parts for voids, delamination, or structural defects
- Maintain quality control standards and follow aerospace manufacturing procedures
- Handle and store composite materials safely
- Work with engineers and designers to improve manufacturability of parts
- Maintain workshop tools, vacuum pumps, curing systems, and safety equipment
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of carbon fiber and fiberglass fabrication
- Experience with vacuum bagging and epoxy resin systems
- Ability to read technical drawings or CAD models
- Knowledge of composite trimming, sanding, and finishing
- Understanding of structural strength and lightweight design principles
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI in Mechanical / Production / Aerospace
- Experience in UAV, automotive, marine, or aerospace composites
- Familiarity with prepreg composites and curing ovens
- Knowledge of structural bonding adhesives
