Job Description for SAP PS consultant
Experience: 4 to 10 Years
Location: Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai
Key Responsibilities
Configure and customize SAP PS master data and transactional data, including Project Definitions, WBS structures, networks, and network profiles.
Develop detailed functional specifications for RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflow) to meet business requirements.
Ensure seamless integration of SAP PS with other SAP modules, such as Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Sales (SD), and Materials Management (MM).
Assist in creating project plans and provide expertise for scope definition.
- Business Process Optimization:
Analyze and map client business requirements to SAP PS processes, ensuring optimal solution design.
Manage processes related to project cost planning, revenue planning, budgeting, and revenue recognition.
Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users.
- Data Migration & Upgrades:
Assist with data migration and system upgrade projects related to the SAP PS module.
Required Qualifications & Skills
A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in SAP PS, including experience with SAP S/4 HANA.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth configuration knowledge of WBS, Networks, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Project Procurement, and Time sheets.
- Strong understanding of integration with FI/CO, SD, MM, and HR (CATS).
- Knowledge of Results Analysis, Version Management, and Project System Reporting.
- Familiarity with RICEF developments.
- Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Proven experience in end-to-end implementations of both capital and customer-based projects.
