Key Responsibilities
- Instruction: Develop and deliver engaging music lessons for various skill levels (vocal, classical, or modern).
- Performance: Organize, choreograph, and conduct school concerts, performances, and music festivals.
- Curriculum: Plan and implement music curricula while assessing student progress through reports and exams.
- Environment: Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
- Mentorship: Build strong relationships with students, encouraging a love for music.
- Collaboration: Work with other staff for holistic student development.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent certifications).
- Experience: Proven experience in teaching music, preferably in a school environment.
- Skills: Proficiency in at least one musical instrument (piano, guitar, etc.) and/or vocal coaching.
- Attributes: Exceptional patience, communication skills, and the ability to work with children.
- Documentation: Clearances for working with children.
