Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and inspiring .NET Team Lead to guide our engineering team in building high-performance, scalable enterprise applications. In this role, you will split your focus between hands-on technical architecture/development and team mentorship. You will own the technical excellence of the delivery pipeline—translating architectural designs into clean code, enforcing engineering best practices, and working side-by-side with the Project Manager to ensure technical challenges are resolved quickly and sprints are completed successfully.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of .NET developers. Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and clean coding practices.
- Architecture & Design: Drive application design, database schema modeling, and integration strategies (including APIs, microservices, or event-driven patterns). Research and prototype complex technical solutions.
- Code Quality & Governance: Establish and enforce strict coding standards, guidelines, and security best practices. Conduct rigorous code reviews and provide constructive feedback to developers.
- Delivery Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Manager to provide accurate technical estimations, break down features into concrete tasks, and flag potential technical risks or scope creeps early.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate with Business Analysts and Test Analysts to ensure that the developed architecture perfectly fulfills functional requirements and meets high quality assurance standards.
- Problem Resolution: Act as the highest escalation point for technical issues, debugging complex defects, performance bottlenecks, and post-deployment production challenges in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Oversee the creation of system sequence diagrams, database workflows, and comprehensive technical documentation to maintain system maintainability.
Preferred Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a Senior or Team Lead capacity.
- Deep .NET Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience building enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core / .NET latest versions, ASP.NET MVC, and Web APIs, GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid experience with desktop or integration frameworks like WPF/WCF and modern frontend environments is a strong advantage.
- Advanced database development skills, including optimizing complex SQL queries, indexing strategies, triggers, and stored procedures (SQL Server / PostgreSQL).
Preferred Knowledge / Skills:
- Architectural Fluency: Strong understanding of architectural patterns, dependency injection, caching strategies (e.g., Redis), and asynchronous processing.
- Agile Mindset: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment, balancing active development tasks with team leadership responsibilities.
- Tools & Devops: Familiarity project tracking infrastructure (Jira / Azure DevOps).
- Exceptional Communication: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and leadership skills to act as the technical anchor for both the team and management.
