Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Junior Estimation Engineer to support our switchgear and industrial automation estimation activities. The candidate will assist in reviewing project drawings, preparing BOQs/BOMs, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting the sales and project teams in preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project drawings, technical specifications, and client requirements.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates for LV/MV switchgear panels and automation-related panels.
- Prepare Bills of Materials, pricing sheets, and estimation documentation.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and sales teams to understand project scope and costing requirements.
- Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to collect quotations for components and systems.
- Support the preparation and submission of tender/bid documents within deadlines.
- Assist in revising estimates based on scope changes or client comments.
- Support project handover to the execution/project team.
- Maintain pricing records, supplier quotations, and estimation references for future use.
- Ensure estimates are prepared in line with client specifications and relevant standards such as IEC, ANSI, etc.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of industrial automation, electrical panels, PLC, VFD, MCC, DDC, or control panels.
- Understanding of electrical drawings, SLDs, control wiring diagrams, and panel layouts will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of switchgear components such as MCB, MCCB, ACB, contactors, relays, meters, and control devices.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong willingness to learn estimation, costing, and tendering processes.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Freshers with strong technical interest in industrial automation and switchgear are encouraged to apply.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
