Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to manage the complete employee lifecycle of contractual workforce employees. The role involves end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee records management, attendance, payroll processing, statutory compliance, employee relations, vendor coordination, and offboarding. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of labour laws, payroll administration, compliance requirements, and HR operations related to contractual staffing.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
- Manage end-to-end HR operations for contractual employees across multiple locations.
- Maintain employee records, HRMS databases, and personnel files with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Generate HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
- Ensure smooth execution of HR processes and policy implementation.
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Handle onboarding and induction of contractual employees.
- Manage documentation, background verification, and joining formalities.
- Issue appointment letters, employment contracts, transfer letters, and other HR documents.
- Conduct exit formalities, full & final settlements, and employee separation processes.
Attendance & Leave Management
- Monitor employee attendance, shifts, rosters, and leave records.
- Coordinate with site managers/supervisors for attendance validation.
- Resolve attendance discrepancies and maintain accurate records for payroll processing.
Payroll Management
- Process monthly payroll for contractual employees.
- Verify attendance, overtime, incentives, deductions, and reimbursements.
- Ensure timely salary disbursement and payroll reconciliation.
- Handle employee payroll queries and salary-related issues.
- Coordinate with finance and payroll vendors as required.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory regulations.
- Manage PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Prepare and submit statutory returns and maintain compliance records.
- Coordinate audits and inspections related to labour compliance.
- Monitor contractor compliance and statutory documentation.
Contract Labour Compliance
- Manage compliance under the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act.
- Ensure contractor licenses, labour registrations, wage registers, and statutory records are maintained.
- Coordinate with contractors and manpower agencies regarding compliance requirements.
- Track contractor manpower deployment and workforce records.
Employee Relations
- Address employee grievances and workplace concerns.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Maintain positive employee relations and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Assist in disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with staffing agencies, contractors, payroll vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure contractual manpower requirements are fulfilled within timelines.
- Monitor vendor performance and compliance adherence.
HR Documentation & Audits
- Maintain statutory registers, employee files, and compliance documentation.
- Support internal and external HR audits.
- Prepare MIS reports and compliance trackers for management review.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
- Relevant certifications in Payroll, Labor Laws, or Compliance will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll, and Compliance.
- Proven experience managing contractual workforce and third-party manpower.
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, retail, facility management, staffing, or service industries preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliances.
- In-depth understanding of labour laws, PF, ESIC, CLRA, Shops & Establishment Act, and related regulations.
- Experience with HRMS and payroll software.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
