1. Role Overview
We are seeking an ambitious, tech-savvy fresher to join our engineering team as an Associate Software Development & Test Engineer. This hybrid role bridges manual quality assurance and modern AI-assisted software development. You will start by performing thorough manual QA to deeply understand the product architecture, bug lifecycles, and user journeys. As you ramp up, you will leverage modern AI developer tooling (such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and LLM coding assistants) to fix bugs, write automation scripts, and contribute to software feature development.
2. Key Responsibilities
· Quality Assurance & Testing: Execute functional, exploratory, regression, and UI/UX testing across web and mobile platforms.
· Write structured bug reports with detailed reproduction steps, logs, and screenshots.
· Collaborate directly with developers to verify bug fixes and validate production releases.
· AI-Assisted Development: Use AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, LLMs) to write, debug, and refactor code for minor features and bug fixes.
· Critically review and test AI-generated code snippets for security, edge cases, and maintainability.
· Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining test checklists, QA documentation, and technical notes.
3. Candidate Requirements
· Education: B.Tech / B.E. (CSE/IT), BCA, MCA, or relevant technical degree (Freshers / 2024–2026 Batch).
· Core Skills: Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java) and web fundamentals (REST APIs, HTML/CSS).
· AI Readiness: High enthusiasm for AI tooling (Cursor, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) with an aptitude for prompt engineering and rapid learning.
· Testing Aptitude: Meticulous attention to detail with an analytical mindset to catch edge-case software defects.
· Mandatory Hardware: Personal laptop/workstation with at least 16 GB RAM, a modern multi-core processor (Intel i5/Ryzen 5+), and a reliable high-speed broadband connection.
· Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills for daily remote standups and coordination.
4. Work Schedule & Benefits
· Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM IST (5-day work week, weekends off).

· Compensation: ₹2.4 LPA – ₹3.6 LPA (₹20,000 – ₹30,000/month based on skill level).
