Job Purpose
The Branch Manager is responsible for overall branch performance with a key focus on fund mobilization, business growth, customer relationship management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory norms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fund Mobilization (Primary Responsibility)
- Drive mobilization of deposits, investments, and other approved fund products as per company strategy.
- Develop and execute local marketing and outreach plans to increase funds under management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, institutions, agents, and key customers.
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual fund mobilization targets.
- Monitor fund inflow trends and take corrective actions where required.
2. Business Development & Growth
- Identify new business opportunities in the branch catchment area.
- Promote company financial products and services to expand customer base.
- Coordinate with marketing teams for campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
- Ensure cross-selling of products to existing customers.
3. Branch Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations ensuring smooth functioning.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Maintain proper documentation, records, and MIS reporting.
- Control branch expenses and ensure profitability.
4. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, guide, and motivate branch staff to achieve business targets.
- Assign targets, review performance, and conduct regular meetings.
- Train staff on products, compliance, and customer handling.
- Maintain discipline and a positive work culture within the branch.
5. Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Strengthen long-term relationships to retain and grow customers.
6. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal audits.
- Monitor risk exposure related to funds and branch operations.
- Ensure KYC, AML, and statutory requirements are followed.

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate / Post-Graduate in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in finance companies, NBFCs, banking, or insurance sectors.
- Proven track record in deposit or fund mobilization preferred.
