Role Overview
We are looking for an E-Commerce Lead to own and scale our online business across
marketplaces, D2C channels, quick-commerce and emerging commerce platforms. This role
is ideal for someone who has managed & Lead e-commerce operations end-to-end,
understands growth levers across multiple product categories, and has experience building
businesses in resource-constrained environments.
The ideal candidate believes in sustainable growth, strong unit economics, operational
excellence, and data-driven decision making rather than growth at any cost.
Key Responsibilities
Own P&L, revenue, growth, and profitability across all e-commerce channels.
Develop and execute channel-wise growth strategies aligned with company
objectives.
Drive sustainable revenue growth while maintaining healthy contribution margins
and advertising efficiency.
Forecast sales, inventory requirements, and business performance across channels.
Lead end-to-end operations across Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Instamart, PharmEasy,
Tata 1mg, and other relevant marketplaces.
Drive assortment expansion, pricing strategy, promotions, and marketplace
visibility.
Monitor and improve key marketplace metrics including Buy Box, account health,
ratings, reviews, cancellations, and fulfilment performance.
Identify and execute opportunities for category leadership.
Should have experience working with third party sellers for multiple marketplaces
- Growth & Performance Marketing
Manage marketplace advertising budgets and optimize performance across
channels.
Improve conversion rates through content, listing optimization, merchandising, and
pricing interventions.
Develop channel-specific growth initiatives based on customer behavior and
category trends.
Continuously monitor CAC, ROAS, contribution margins, and customer acquisition
efficiency.
- Commercial & Channel Expansion
Evaluate and onboard new commerce channels and partnerships.
Build relationships with marketplace account managers and strategic partners.
Identify new growth opportunities across quick commerce, D2C, healthcare
platforms, and emerging channels.
Lead negotiations related to promotions, visibility programs, and channel
investments.
Build and monitor dashboards for revenue, profitability, customer acquisition,
retention, and operational KPIs.
Analyze category trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior.
Present actionable insights and business recommendations to leadership.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in E-Commerce, Marketplace Growth, or Digital Commerce
roles.
Demonstrated experience managing e-commerce businesses end-to-end.
Experience handling multiple marketplaces and product categories simultaneously.
Strong understanding of marketplace algorithms, advertising platforms, catalog
management, and account health metrics.
Proven track record of scaling businesses in startup.
Strong commercial acumen with a focus on profitability and sustainable growth.
Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and business reporting tools.
Experience managing inventory planning and forecasting is preferred.
Healthcare, consumer health, medical devices, wellness, electronics, or consumer
product experience will be an added advantage.
