About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Designer cum R&D Associate to work across apparel design, product development, research, sampling and innovation.
The role requires a good understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, technical specifications and apparel trends, along with the ability to translate design concepts into commercially viable and production-ready products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design uniforms for multiple industry segments.
- Research market trends, fabrics, trims, silhouettes and functional apparel innovations.
- Develop seasonal and client-specific design concepts.
- Create technical sketches using Adobe Illustrator.
- Prepare detailed Tech Packs and BOMs.
- Conduct fabric and trim sourcing research.
- Evaluate fabric performance based on application.
- Coordinate sample development with production teams.
- Review sample fit, construction and finishing.
- Prepare measurement charts and grading specifications.
- Maintain design documentation and product development records.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking.
- Participate in client presentations when required.
- Support cost optimization through alternative materials and construction techniques.
- Coordinate with vendors for sample fabrics and trims.
- Ensure designs meet production feasibility and quality standards.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, Apparel Design or Textile Design.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in uniform industry, corporate wear, hospitality apparel, healthcare apparel, workwear, apparel manufacturing or export houses will be preferred.
- Internship experience in apparel manufacturing or product development will be an advantage.

Candidates must be currently based in Hyderabad and available for a face-to-face interview.

Compensation
₹3–4 LPA, with higher compensation potentially considered for candidates demonstrating exceptional design capability and relevant industry experience.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
