The Depot Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining optimum stock levels at the depot, ensuring timely stock replenishment, coordinating closely with the Sales Team for smooth order fulfilment and sales growth, and proactively managing slow-moving and near-expiry inventory to minimize stock losses.
Key Responsibilities
1. Stock Management
- Monitor daily stock levels across all SKUs and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure proper inward, outward, transfer and adjustment of stock in the system.
- Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) practices are followed.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving and excess inventory and highlight the same to the concerned team.
2. Stock Replenishment
- Monitor stock availability and identify SKUs requiring replenishment.
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain / Purchase / Warehouse Team for timely replenishment.
- Maintain optimum stock levels based on sales trends, order patterns and business requirements.
- Avoid both stock-outs and unnecessary overstocking.
- Prepare and share regular stock requirement and replenishment reports.
3. Sales Team Coordination
- Coordinate closely with the Sales Team regarding stock availability and customer requirements.
- Support the Sales Team in identifying products available for immediate sale and dispatch.
- Inform Sales Team about excess, slow-moving and ageing stock and work jointly to push such products.
- Actively support the Sales Team in achieving depot-level sales targets through effective stock planning.
4. Near-Expiry & Ageing Stock Management
- Prepare and maintain a Near-Expiry / Ageing Stock Report on a regular basis.
- Identify products approaching expiry well in advance and immediately highlight them to the Sales and Business Teams.
- Coordinate with Sales Team to prioritize and push near-expiry products through appropriate sales channels.
- Monitor the movement of near-expiry stock until liquidation.
- Ensure no stock reaches expiry due to lack of monitoring or timely action.
- Escalate critical ageing/near-expiry inventory to management for corrective action.
5. MIS & Reporting
Prepare reports on:
- Stock availability
- Stock ageing
- Near-expiry stock
- Slow-moving & non-moving stock
- Stock replenishment requirements
- Stock-outs
- Sales & dispatch status
- Maintain accurate depot-related MIS and provide timely updates to management.
- Highlight inventory risks and operational issues proactively.
6. Depot Coordination & Operations
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, Sales and Accounts Teams for smooth depot operations.
- Ensure timely dispatch against sales orders.
- Follow company processes related to stock handling, documentation and inventory control.
- Support smooth communication between the Depot and Head Office.
- Ensure proper documentation for stock transfers, returns, damages and adjustments.

- 2–5 years of experience in Depot Coordination, Warehouse, Inventory Management or FMCG operations.
- Good understanding of stock management, inventory ageing and replenishment.
- Experience in coordinating with Sales Teams will be preferred.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong follow-up, coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse stock movement and take proactive action on ageing/near-expiry inventory.
- Should be detail-oriented, disciplined and comfortable working with numbers and MIS.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
