- Operational Leadership: Directs end-to-end plant operations to meet production targets while optimizing manpower, equipment, and raw material utilization.
- Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Ensures operations strictly adhere to cGMP, WHO-GMP, and strict environmental regulations. Oversees BMR (Batch Manufacturing Records), SOP adherence, and CAPA implementations.
- EHS (Environment, Health & Safety): Manages hazardous chemical handling, effluent treatment, waste management, and ensures zero-incident safety protocols.
- P&L Management: Controls operating budgets, manages capital expenditures (CAPEX), and drives cost-reduction initiatives.
- Technology Transfer: Coordinates with R&D and pilot plants for the seamless scale-up and commercialization of new chemical processes or APIs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Experience: 12 to 20+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior plant management role (e.g., Plant Manager, VP of Operations).
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in chemical synthesis, batch processing, or API scale-up.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
