Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks / Creo / CATIA / NX).
- Prepare 2D drawings, GD T, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Perform design calculations and basic CAE/FEA analysis where required.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams for DFM/DFA and production feasibility.
- Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including electrical, industrial design, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality norms, and safety regulations.
- Handle design changes, engineering change requests (ECR/ECO), and documentation control.
- Assist in cost optimization and material selection.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience in consumer products / industrial equipment / automotive / electronics enclosures.
- Exposure to prototype development and vendor coordination.
- Knowledge of PLM tools.
- Understanding of ISO / ASME standards.

Required Skills Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- 3–4 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD 2D drafting.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes (Injection Moulding, Sheet Metal, Machining, Die Casting, etc.).
- Strong understanding of GD T, tolerances, and fits.
- Experience with materials selection (plastics, metals).
- Basic knowledge of FEA/Simulation is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
