About Position:
We are seeking a Mainframe Architect with extensive experience in enterprise mainframe technologies to define architecture strategies, drive modernization initiatives, and lead large-scale mainframe transformation programs. The role involves designing scalable and resilient solutions, providing architectural leadership, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology roadmaps across mission-critical systems.

What You'll Do:

Define and drive the overall architecture, design, and modernisation strategy for enterprise mainframe applications and platforms.

Lead technical solution design, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and alignment with business objectives.

Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to development teams working with COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS, and related technologies.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and solution architects to deliver integrated and efficient technology solutions.

Evaluate emerging technologies, recommend modernization approaches, and oversee successful implementation of mainframe transformation initiatives.
Expertise You'll Bring:

Extensive experience in Mainframe architecture, application design, and enterprise-scale solution delivery using COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, and z/OS technologies.

Strong expertise in defining architecture roadmaps, modernization strategies, cloud integration, and legacy system transformation initiatives.

Deep understanding of system performance, scalability, security, resilience, and governance best practices within mainframe environments.

Proven ability to lead technical teams, influence stakeholders, and drive architecture decisions across complex business and technology landscapes.

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with experience collaborating across cross-functional and global teams.
