Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Inventor in line with project requirements and technical specifications.
- Create, modify, and manage assembly models, part models, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Maintain and organize part libraries and standard components.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, manufacturing, and shop floor teams to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and accuracy.
- Maintain proper drawing and document control using Autodesk Vault.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Support engineering changes, design revisions, and documentation updates as required during project execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Autodesk Inventor / AutoCAD Proficiency
- Strong experience in using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor for 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and technical documentation.
- Technical Drawing & Documentation
Ability to read, interpret, and create engineering drawings, including layouts, schematics, and assembly drawings.
High level of accuracy and meticulous attention when creating or modifying drawings and BOMs.Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and shop floor personnel.Ability to identify design issues and propose practical engineering solutions.Education & Experience

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in the engineering industry.
- Mandatory shop floor exposure of at least 1 year.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical / Design Engineer.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
