Job Summary
VC Green Energy Private Limited is looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer – Solar EPC to lead and support solar PV system design activities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in solar EPC design, electrical engineering, and project execution support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and engineering of solar PV systems for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects.
- Prepare and review electrical designs, SLDs, layouts, cable sizing, equipment selection, and technical documentation.
- Perform system capacity calculations, energy yield analysis, and optimization studies.
- Coordinate with project, procurement, and execution teams for design implementation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
- Review vendor drawings, technical submissions, and engineering documents.
- Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning stages.
- Mentor junior design engineers and ensure quality of engineering deliverables.
Requirements
- B.E / B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or equivalent.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Solar EPC Design & Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience in solar PV system design and engineering.
- Good knowledge of:
- Solar PV plant design
- Electrical calculations
- HT/LT systems
- Inverter & transformer selection
- Cable sizing and protection systems
- SLD preparation and review
- Grid connectivity requirements
- Experience with design tools and engineering software will be preferred.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: From ₹1,000,000.00 per year
