Job Summary
The Tender Manager is responsible for identifying, managing, and submitting high-quality tender proposals in response to government, public sector, and private sector opportunities. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with tender requirements, managing bid timelines, and maximizing the organization's success rate.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor tender portals and identify relevant business opportunities.
- Analyze tender documents, eligibility criteria, and technical/commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, Technical, Procurement, etc.) to gather required information.
- Prepare and submit complete, accurate, and compliant tender documents within deadlines.
- Develop technical and commercial proposals, presentations, and bid documentation.
- Ensure all statutory documents, certifications, and supporting documents are updated and available.
- Prepare cost sheets and pricing in coordination with the finance and commercial teams.
- Manage bid clarifications, pre-bid meetings, and customer communications.
- Maintain a database of submitted tenders, outcomes, and lessons learned.
- Track bid performance and prepare tender status reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and client procurement guidelines.
- Support contract negotiations and handover to project execution teams after award.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in tender/bid management.
- Experience handling government, PSU, EPC, infrastructure, healthcare, manufacturing, or private-sector tenders (as applicable).
- Proven track record of successful bid submissions.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of tendering and procurement processes.
- Knowledge of government e-procurement portals and online bidding systems.
- Excellent proposal writing and documentation skills.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
