Job Title: Business Development Executive (BDE)
Are you a dynamic and driven sales professional with a passion for growth and partnerships? We're hiring Business Development Executive to join our ambitious team in Kolkata, West Bengal.
Location: Kolkata
Experience: 2–3 years (Franchise Development / Retail Trade / Alliances)
What You’ll Do:
1. Daily Planning & Execution
- Prepare and share the work plan daily with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure timely attendance marking and adherence to the daily field activity schedule via the FOS App.
- Track and report daily performance against planned activities.
2. Market Visits & Lead Generation:
- Conduct regular field visits (minimum required visits per day) to identify new business opportunities.
- Engage with potential partners, retail outlets, and healthcare providers to generate leads.
- Ensure all visits and activities are accurately recorded in the system.
3. Franchisee Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing franchisees and partners.
- Conduct regular meetings with franchisees to review business performance and service delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for franchise-related support and issue resolution.
4. Business Development & Strategic Alliances
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships, tie-ups, and collaborations to enhance brand visibility and revenue.
- Explore new channels and alliances within the retail and healthcare ecosystem.
5. Market Research & Opportunity Mapping
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.
- Provide insights and recommendations for expanding into new markets or segments.
6. Partner Support & Performance Optimization
- Assist franchise partners in business planning, operational setup, and performance improvement.
- Ensure franchisees adhere to company standards, processes, and service quality guidelines.
7. Reporting & Communication
- Share daily updates on Plan vs Achievement with the team via designated communication channels.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, leads, and business outcomes.
8. Target Achievement & Representation
- Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.
- Represent the organization at exhibitions, trade fairs, and networking events to promote the brand.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in Franchise Development
- Proven track record in franchise appointment, expansion, and management.
Retail & Alliances Expertise
- Strong background in retail trade and building business alliances.
Healthcare Industry Knowledge (Preferred)
- Prior exposure to the medical or healthcare domain is a plus.
Communication & Negotiation
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Result-Oriented Mindset
- Self-starter with a goal-driven approach and the ability to work independently.
Willing to Travel
- Comfortable with frequent travel for business development activities.
Qualifications:
Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or a related field
MBA preferred, but not mandatory
