We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage the end-to-end financial operations of our restaurant business. This is a standalone role ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional capable of handling complete accounting functions while providing strategic financial insights to management. The position offers an opportunity to play a key role in strengthening financial systems and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete accounting operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports such as Profit & Loss statements, cash flow reports, and management summaries.
- Handle statutory compliances including GST, TDS, payroll-related obligations, and other regulatory filings.
- Perform bank reconciliations, POS reconciliations, and payment gateway reconciliations.
- Monitor operational expenses, vendor payments, and cost control measures to enhance profitability.
- Oversee inventory accounting, stock verification, and purchase documentation.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with operations, procurement, and management teams to ensure smooth financial processes.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve efficiency and performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com/MBA Finance).
- Professional certifications such as CA Inter or CMA Inter are preferred.
- Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry.
- Proven ability to independently manage complete accounting operations.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Busy.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Financial Analysis).
- Experience with POS systems and payment gateway reconciliations is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and high level of integrity.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a proactive approach.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
