Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Partner Lead to manage external engineering partners supporting product development programs. This role is responsible for overseeing engineering governance, managing vendor performance, and ensuring engineering deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with Weatherford's technical, quality, and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to drive successful product development from concept through production.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external engineering partners and development vendors.
- Manage engineering governance across multiple product development projects.
- Review project plans, technical deliverables, and engineering documentation to ensure alignment with project objectives and company standards.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage the performance of 6–12 external engineering partners , ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, cost, and quality expectations.
- Monitor project KPIs, including on-time delivery, budget performance, product quality, and time-to-market.
- Support product development activities, including design reviews, testing, validation, and regulatory compliance.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful program delivery.
- Facilitate effective communication between internal stakeholders and external engineering partners.
- Ensure compliance with company engineering processes, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering partner performance and development processes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years managing engineering partners, vendors, or outsourced engineering projects.
- Hands-on experience with hardware product development programs.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional engineering projects and engineering governance.
- Background in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering is preferred.
- Experience working with vendors on product design, testing, and validation activities.
- Familiarity with PCB , FPGA , or other hardware technologies is an advantage.
- Knowledge of product development processes, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
- Willingness to travel as required.
