Accountant – Accounts Department
Job Responsibilities
- Process and manage all bank payments, including RTGS, NEFT, IMPS, LC, and other banking transactions.
- Record and reconcile all bank transactions and accounting entries.
- Prepare, issue, and maintain cheque records and related entries.
- Prepare and process Domestic and Export Sales Invoices accurately and on time.
- Handle daily cash management, petty cash, and cash reconciliation.
- Maintain books of accounts and perform day-to-day general accounting activities.
- Record purchase, sales, journal, receipt, and payment entries.
- Perform bank reconciliation and vendor/customer ledger reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with internal departments for accounting and financial activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, GST, TDS, and company policies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, banking operations, and export documentation.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
