Role Overview
We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Social Media Manager to own our organic social media presence across all major platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and emerging channels). You will be the voice of our brand, responsible for developing a compelling content calendar, producing engaging short-form video content, and fostering a highly active online community. The ideal candidate has an eye for aesthetics, a knack for viral storytelling, and the analytical skills to measure what actually drives engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Calendar: Develop and execute a comprehensive organic social media strategy. Plan a monthly content calendar that aligns with product launches, promotional events, and brand campaigns.
Content Creation & Curation: Produce, shoot, and edit engaging native content (Reels, Shorts, carousels, behind-the-scenes). Collaborate closely with our internal product photography and design teams to ensure visual consistency.
Community Engagement: Act as the frontline voice of the brand. Respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in real-time, fostering a positive, responsive, and loyal online community.
Trend Spotting: Stay on the cutting edge of social media trends, audio, and memes. Quickly adapt and execute relevant trends to keep the brand culturally relevant and top-of-mind.
Influencer Collaboration: Identify, reach out to, and manage relationships with micro-influencers and brand ambassadors for organic seeding and content partnerships.
Analytics & Reporting: Track key social metrics (reach, engagement rate, follower growth, click-throughs) using native insights and third-party tools. Deliver regular reports to leadership on what’s working and what needs pivoting.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 5+ years of proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand, agency, or high-profile creator.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field
Platform Expertise: Deep, native understanding of Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn algorithms and best practices.
Creative Chops: Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt to our specific brand voice. Basic proficiency in design and video editing tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush).
Visual Eye: A strong understanding of visual aesthetics and how to make physical products look incredibly appealing on camera.
Analytics: Familiarity with social media management and listening tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer) and the ability to extract actionable insights from data.
