About us
Divide By Zero Technologies designs and manufactures industrial 3D printers in Navi Mumbai. We don't import machines and put our sticker on them — we design the motion system, the extruder, the firmware and the electronics ourselves, and we build them here.
Twelve years in, over 1,300 machines installed across defence, aerospace, automotive, medical, education and general engineering customers. Alongside the machine business we run our own print services bureau, making jigs, fixtures, gauges, prototypes and low-volume production parts for customers on our own Quantum Pro 500, Aeqon 400 V4, Alpha 500 and Aion 500 MK2 machines.
What the role actually is
You run our print floor.
A customer file lands. You check it will actually print — wall thickness, feature size, mesh errors, overhangs. You pick the material and profile, slice it, put it on the right machine, and watch the first few layers. When it's done you pull the supports, finish the part, measure it against the drawing, and if it isn't right you print it again. Then you pack it, label it, and get it out the door on the date we promised.
Every job that leaves this building goes through your hands.
Two things make this more than machine-minding. Our bureau is also our proving ground — the sample parts printed here are what convince customers to buy a machine, so the quality of your work directly turns into sales. And because we build these printers, when something behaves strangely the engineers who designed the extruder are sitting two rooms away. Your observations from the floor go straight back into the product.
You do not need to know all of this on day one. You need to be practical, careful, and genuinely interested in making things work. We will train you on our machines, materials and slicer profiles.
What you will do
- Check incoming customer files for printability and flag problems before the job starts
- Pick the material and profile, set orientation and supports, and slice the job
- Plan jobs across the machines so the fleet stays busy and jobs go out on time
- Start prints, watch them, and catch failures early instead of losing a full build
- Post-process — support removal, deburring, sanding, drilling, tapping, assembly
- Measure finished parts against the drawing with calipers and gauges, and reprint what doesn't pass
- Run daily and weekly machine maintenance — nozzle checks, bed levelling, belt tension, cleaning — and log it
- Track filament stock and consumption, store material properly, raise indents before you run out
- Update the job tracker for every single job, file receipt through to dispatch
- Pack, label and dispatch finished parts
- Print sample and demo parts for the sales team at short notice
- Report recurring faults and odd machine behaviour to the engineering team
What we need from you
Must have
- Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, Mechatronics or Automobile Engineering. ITI with strong machine-handling aptitude is fine
- Comfortable working with machines hands-on — loading, levelling, changing nozzles, clearing jams
- Able to read a basic 2D drawing — dimensions, tolerances, orientation
- Careful and methodical. You follow a written SOP exactly and you record what you actually did, not what you meant to do
- Real attention to detail on finished parts — you spot stringing, layer shift, warping and dimensional drift before the customer does
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software
- Hindi and Marathi for the floor, working English for job notes
- Based in or around Navi Mumbai — Nerul, Vashi, Panvel, Kharghar, Belapur, Thane
Nice to have
- Hands-on with a slicer — Simplify3D, Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio
- Familiar with STL, STEP or OBJ files and basic mesh repair
- Worked with PLA, PLA-CF, PETG, ABS, ASA, PA6-CF or PC
- Any CAD exposure — SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD — even from a college project
- Experience in a machine shop, tool room, CNC job shop, prototyping lab or plastics unit
If you have built, tuned or repaired a 3D printer yourself — even a cheap one at home — tell us in your application. We will move you to the front of the queue regardless of your formal experience.

Compensation and details
- ₹18,000 – ₹22,000 per month, depending on hands-on experience
- Day shift, Monday to Saturday
- In person at Nerul West, Navi Mumbai
