Job Description
Manager Site Payments - FSP
Join our Functional Service Partnerships (FSP) Site Payments team, dedicated to delivering end-to-end Investigator Payments Management. As Manager Site Payments, you will lead a high-performing team through one of the most complex and critical phases of the clinical trial lifecycle. This role plays a vital part in the success of our FSP Business Unit (BU) by ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely investigator payments while driving operational excellence.
As part of our diverse and collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives, support key customer projects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of payment processes across global clinical trials.

Line Manage and develop Site Payments teams, ensuring best-in-class delivery of investigator payments across assigned projects.

Build, expand, and scale teams as business needs evolve, including supporting recruitment initiatives and representing Thermo Fisher Scientific at career events.

Oversee project delivery to ensure customer expectations, contractual obligations, quality standards, and timelines are consistently met.

Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project and operational risks to ensure business continuity.

Review and approve employee time records, expense reports, and leave requests.

Drive performance management through goal setting, coaching, mentoring, career development, performance reviews, and, when necessary, corrective actions. Participate in recruitment activities, including interviews and job description development.

Partner with senior leadership to analyze operational metrics, identify trends, implement process improvements, and support FSP Business Unit growth initiatives.

Develop and maintain departmental policies, standard operating procedures, training materials, and other documentation. Serve as a subject matter expert on cross-functional initiatives and workstreams.

Perform quality control and approval activities, including site setup, investigator payments, milestone payments, budget entries, contracted payees, reimbursements, site payment reconciliations, and payment issue resolution, as required.
Education

Master's degree, preferably in Finance or a related field.
Experience
-
Experience in clinical trial Site Payments(More than 10 years) ,operational responsibilities and at least 2 years of people leadership experience.

Experience working within the Functional Service Provider (FSP) model is a strong advantage.

Experience with Site Payment platforms, EDC systems, financial systems, ticketing systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical capabilities with experience interpreting project and financial data, developing accurate forecasts, and identifying client-specific needs to design and implement tailored payment solutions.

Excellent technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Site Payment platforms, financial systems, ticketing systems, and EDC applications.

Solid understanding of ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP), applicable country regulations, tax requirements, and other regulatory requirements related to clinical trial payment management.
