We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Engineer to join our dynamic technology and compliance team, focusing on regulatory adherence and automation of controls within the banking sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered systems—specifically leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) on Google Cloud—to detect, interpret, and respond to changes in regulatory policies, ensuring that the Bank’s controls remain current and effective.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI solutions using LLMs to monitor, parse, and summarise regulatory policy changes from multiple jurisdictions and sources.
- Automate the detection of regulatory updates and map these changes to existing Bank controls, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with compliance, risk, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of AI-driven controls with the Bank’s governance frameworks and operational processes.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable AI pipelines and applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
- Create and maintain documentation for AI models, workflows, and automated controls, ensuring transparency and auditability.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of automated controls and recommend enhancements based on new regulatory requirements or technological advancements.
- Conduct regular reviews and testing of AI models to ensure accuracy, fairness, and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in AI, LLMs, and regulatory technology (RegTech), and proactively propose innovative solutions.
