Position: Panel Estimation Engineer – PCC & MCC Panels
Location: Dombivli MIDC
Experience: 2-5 Years
Role Purpose
The Panel Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and technical clarifications for PCC (Power Control Centre) and MCC (Motor Control Centre) panels based on customer specifications, drawings, and tender requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesEstimation & Costing
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for PCC, MCC, APFC, and distribution panels.
- Analyze tender documents, GA drawings, SLDs, and specifications.
- Prepare BOQ, BOM, and cost break-ups (material, labor, overheads).
- Evaluate vendor quotations and optimize costs without compromising quality.
- Support commercial team during techno-commercial negotiations.
Technical Responsibilities
- Select appropriate components such as ACBs, MCCBs, contactors, relays, VFDs, soft starters, etc.
- Ensure compliance with IS/IEC standards, customer specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams for feasibility and accuracy.
- Provide technical clarifications to customers and internal stakeholders.
Documentation & Coordination
- Prepare estimation-related documents for tenders, RFQs, and customer proposals.
- Maintain estimation databases and cost history.
- Assist in value engineering and alternate component selection.
- Support project handover with finalized BOMs and specifications.
Qualifications
- Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering.
- Certification in electrical estimation or panel design (preferred).
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in estimation of PCC & MCC panels.
- Experience in LT panel manufacturing industry is mandatory.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
