Role Overview
We're looking for a motivated student or recent graduate to join us as a Sales Trainee for a 3-month internship. You'll get hands-on, guided exposure to B2B sales in the IT compliance and cybersecurity consulting space — learning lead generation, prospect engagement, and consultative selling directly from the founding team. High-performing trainees will be considered for a full-time Sales Associate role at the end of the internship.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and generating leads through LinkedIn, email outreach, cold calling, and online research
- Support qualification of inbound inquiries (e.g., free IT assessment/consultation requests) under mentor guidance
- Learn to maintain and update the CRM/lead tracker with accurate prospect and pipeline information
- Shadow outreach campaigns targeting finance, healthcare, and manufacturing sector clients
- Assist in preparing proposals, follow-up communications, and basic client documentation
- Support coordination with the marketing/content team on LinkedIn and newsletter-aligned outreach
- Research competitor activity and market trends in the IT compliance/cybersecurity space
- Attend client calls/meetings (virtual and in-person) as a learning opportunity
- Complete a structured 3-month learning plan with weekly check-ins and a final project/presentation
Who We're Looking For
- Final-year student or recent graduate (any discipline; preference for BBA/B.Com/B.Tech/MBA or related fields)
- No prior work experience required; prior internships in sales, business development, or marketing are a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and Hindi)
- Willingness to do cold outreach, follow-ups, and learn target-driven work
- Basic understanding of MS Office/Google Workspace; familiarity with LinkedIn is a plus
- Self-motivated, coachable, and genuinely curious about B2B/consultative selling
- Interest in IT, cybersecurity, or compliance domains is a strong plus (training will be provided)
- Able to commit to the full 3-month internship duration
