Role Overview
We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our clientele and secure new MEP project contracts. You will act as the face of our company, responsible for understanding client needs, estimating project pipelines, and building long-term relationships with developers, consultants, and general contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new MEP project opportunities through market research, cold outreach, and networking with architects, builders, and consultants.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers (Project Managers, Developers, and MEP Consultants).
- Proposal & Bidding: Collaborate with the estimation and engineering teams to prepare compelling, accurate project proposals, RFPs, and tenders.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and project deliverables to close new business deals and meet annual revenue targets.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and upcoming construction developments to identify emerging markets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
- Experience: 3 to 8 years of proven B2B sales/business development experience within the MEP, construction, or real estate sector.
- Technical Acumen: Strong knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) and the ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Networking: An established, active network of industry contacts (builders, architects, and MEP consultants) in the local region is highly preferred.
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
