We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with a keen interest in healthcare finance to oversee the financial health of our hospital. This role goes beyond traditional accounting; you will manage complex billing cycles, healthcare regulatory compliance, and department-wise cost analysis to ensure our facility provides top-tier care while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Audit & Assurance: Coordinate internal and external audits; ensure all documentation is compliant and address any discrepancies.
- Taxation: Manage corporate tax planning, filing, and compliance (GST, Income Tax, etc.) while staying updated on changing tax laws.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and provide variance analysis to management.
- Financial Advisory: Provide data-driven insights on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and investment opportunities.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities adhere to local and international accounting standards and legal regulations.
- Familiarity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and healthcare billing codes.
- Expertise in GST/Taxation laws as they apply to healthcare services and medicines.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex clinical data into financial reports for non-finance stakeholders (Doctors and Administrators).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Certification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience; prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly preferred.
