Roles & Responsibilities
(i) Collate the procurement requirements, i.e. scope of work, specifications, drawings and other requirements necessary for
procurement for site and Head office from various departments.
(ii) Identify suitable vendors and obtain quotes for indented items, evaluation of the quotations and preparation of comparison
statement.
(iii) Perform cost and price analysis, develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms &
Conditions).
(iv) Preparation of necessary documents for management approval of the vendor/agency as well as PO/WO proposed to issue to the selected vendor/agency.
(v) Preparation and placing of purchase order to selected vendors and procuring necessary vendor details.
(vi) Follow up with the vendors for delivery of materials and coordinating with the site team till delivery.
(vii) Prepare and verify vendor bills as per Purchase Order, mode of measurement as required, GST rates, other relevant
information, and coordinate with the vendors to procure corrected Invoice if applicable.
(viii) Submission of the corrected Invoice to Accounts department along with necessary documents including payment approval.
(ix) Tracking the payment status of various Invoices of vendors with Account department.
(x) Maintain various trackers such as vendor details, Purchase order, material delivery, Payment status etc.
(xi) Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
(xii) Assist project management staff in planning for required procurement support in proposals and contracts; Serves as a resource to staff on procurement, subcontract, and related issues.
(xiii) Maintain strong database of all vendors/subcontractors required for Road infra space.
(xiv) Preparation of work orders/Service Agreements for the selected Agencies.
Soft skills & Other requirements
- Hands-on experience with effective communication, Proficient knowledge of complete supply chain management and negotiation
