Job Description – Senior Secondary Chemistry Teacher (Grades XI–XII)
Job Title: Senior Secondary Chemistry Teacher
Department: Academics
Reports To: Principal / Academic Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Chemistry to students of Grades XI and XII as per CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and question papers.
- Conduct practical sessions and maintain laboratory records and safety standards.
- Assess student performance through tests, projects, and examinations.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students for board examinations and competitive exams.
- Maintain student attendance, progress reports, and academic records.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and school events.
- Integrate innovative teaching methodologies and technology into classroom instruction.
- Ensure timely completion of syllabus and revision schedules.
Qualifications:
- M.Sc. Chemistry with B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in Senior Secondary classes.
- Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and board examination patterns.
