Job Summary
A CCTV Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting surveillance systems to ensure security and monitoring of premises. The role involves working with cameras, digital video recorders (DVRs), network video recorders (NVRs), and related security equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure CCTV cameras (IP & Analog), DVRs, and NVR systems
- Perform site surveys and recommend appropriate surveillance solutions
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in CCTV systems and networking issues
- Monitor system performance and ensure cameras are operational
- Configure remote viewing on mobile apps and desktop software
- Handle cabling work (LAN, coaxial, fiber if required)
- Knowledge of firmware upgrades and software for CCTV systems
- Provide technical support to clients and end users

Required Skills
- Knowledge of CCTV systems – UNV, CP Plus, etc.
- Basic understanding of networking (IP addressing, routers, switches)
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Ability to read technical diagrams and layout plans
- Good problem-solving and communication skills

Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI in Electronics, Electrical, or related field
- Certification in CCTV or Networking (preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in CCTV installation and maintenance
