Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant with a strong background in financial management and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should hold an MBA in Finance and possess 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Indian accounting practices, with proven expertise in ROC compliance, EPF, PF, GST, and Income Tax. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure timely statutory filings, and support regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a qualified Accountant with 3–5 years of experience in Indian accounting and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, hands-on with day-to-day accounting, and proficient in managing GST, TDS, EPF/ESI, ROC, and Income Tax compliances. The candidate should be comfortable preparing financial reports, handling payroll compliance, and coordinating with auditors and consultants.
1. GST Compliance
- Preparation and filing of monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual return, etc.).
- Reconciliation of GSTR-2A/2B with input credits.
- Handling GST notices, queries, and audits.
2. TDS Compliance
- Deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS returns.
- Preparation of Form 16 & 16A.
- Ensuring timely compliance and responding to notices.
3. EPF & Payroll Compliance
- Monthly EPF & ESI filings and challan payments.
- Employee payroll processing support.
- Handling statutory audits related to labor compliances.
4. ROC (Registrar of Companies) Compliance
- Support to CA in preparation and filing of ROC returns. (annual filings, board resolutions, etc.).
- Coordination with CA for compliance.
5. Day-to-Day Accounting
- Recording journal entries, vendor invoices, and expense claims.
- Bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Preparation of MIS reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Assist in statutory and internal audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: B.Com / M.Com / Semi-qualified CA / CMA.
- Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws (GST, Income Tax, TDS).
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP / Zoho Books / QuickBooks / accounting software.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel for reconciliation and reporting.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
