Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Upwork Bidder to manage and grow our online business opportunities through Upwork and other freelancing platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Upwork bidding strategies, proposal writing, lead generation, client communication, and project coordination.
Candidates with knowledge of Government Tendering (GeM / E-Tender portals) will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Upwork bidding and generate new business opportunities
- Write customized and high-converting proposals for clients
- Identify potential projects and convert leads into long-term clients
- Maintain strong communication with international clients
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with the technical team
- Negotiate pricing, timelines, and project scope professionally
- Maintain project pipeline and client relationship records
- Ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction
- Explore opportunities through other freelancing portals and lead platforms
- Knowledge of Government Tendering / GeM portal will be an added advantage
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Upwork bidding and project acquisition
- Excellent proposal writing and communication skills
- Understanding of digital services, IT services, and project flow
- Ability to handle international clients professionally
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Knowledge of freelancing platforms and lead generation
Basic understanding of Government Tendering is preferred

Qualifications:
- BBA/MBA in Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Bidder/Business Development Executive, particularly on Upwork.
- Proven track record of winning projects and closing deals on Upwork.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to craft tailored proposals that showcase value and meet client expectations.
- Strong negotiation skills and client management experience.
- Knowledge of project management tools is a plus.
