Requirements:
Willing to work on a rotational shift basis, including morning and evening shifts.
Final salary will be discussed based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray and other diagnostic imaging procedures as prescribed by the physician.
- Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging examinations.
- Explain procedures to patients and obtain their cooperation to ensure quality imaging.
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently according to established protocols.
- Ensure radiation safety by adhering to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles and using appropriate protective measures for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Verify patient identity and examination requests before performing procedures.
- Assess image quality and repeat examinations only when clinically necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of all imaging procedures.
- Assist radiologists and physicians during specialized imaging procedures when required.
- Monitor the condition of imaging equipment and promptly report any faults or malfunctions.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of the radiology department and equipment.
- Maintain adequate stock of radiographic supplies and report shortages.
- Observe infection prevention and control practices at all times.
- Respond promptly to emergency and portable imaging requests.
- Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality in accordance with hospital policies.
- Participate in quality assurance, quality improvement, and radiation safety programmes.
- Attend departmental meetings, continuing education programmes, and mandatory training sessions.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Radiology Manager or Hospital Administration.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging Technology from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the relevant professional council/licensing authority.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is desirable.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
