Purchase Executive - Packaging Manufacturing Industry
Key Responsibilities
- Material Requirement Planning: Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify procurement needs based on production schedules.
- Vendor Development & Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for raw materials like polymers, additives, and packaging.
- Purchase Order Processing: Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in terms, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Cost Optimization: Negotiate pricing and payment terms to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
- Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores to maintain optimal inventory.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and maintain proper documentation for audits.
- Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new supplier opportunities.
- Quality Assurance: Work with the quality team to ensure procured materials meet required standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of plastic packaging and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Familiarity with supply chain and logistics
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (preferably with a specialization in Supply Chain or Materials Management)
- 2-3 years of experience in procurement within the plastic manufacturing industry

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
