CSSD Technician (Central Sterile Services Department)
Location: Kadi, Gujarat
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience and qualifications)

About the Role
A Multi-Speciality Hospital is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CSSD Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, storage, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment to ensure patient safety and infection control standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning, decontamination, sterilization, and packing of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Operate autoclaves, ETO sterilizers, and other CSSD equipment.
- Maintain proper sterilization records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and hospital policies.
- Inspect instruments for functionality and cleanliness before sterilization.
- Prepare instrument sets and trays for OT and clinical departments.
- Monitor sterilization indicators and quality assurance procedures.
- Coordinate with Operation Theatre, ICU, and other departments regarding sterile supplies.
- Ensure proper storage and distribution of sterile materials.
Eligibility Criteria/Education
- Certificate/Diploma in CSSD Technology, OT Technology, or related healthcare field.
- HSC/12th Pass with relevant CSSD experience may also be considered.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in CSSD within a hospital setting preferred.
- Freshers with relevant training may apply.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of sterilization procedures and infection control.
- Familiarity with autoclaves and sterilization equipment.
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Understanding of hospital safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in:
- Multi-speciality Hospitals
- Operation Theatre Support
- NABH-accredited Hospitals
- Infection Control Practices
will be given preference.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
