Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Scrum Master to guide our agile development teams. You will serve as a servant leader, facilitating daily agile ceremonies, removing blockers, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Agile Facilitation: Lead core Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Team Coaching: Guide the engineering team and Product Owner on Agile/Scrum best practices, principles, and values.
- Blocker Removal: Proactively identify, track, and eliminate roadblocks or distractions hindering team progress.
- Collaboration & Alignment: Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a well-refined, prioritized product backlog and protect the team from scope creep during active sprints.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor team velocity, burn-down charts, and sprint progress to support data-driven decision-making and forecasting.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster an environment of trust, open feedback, and continuous optimization through meaningful sprint retrospectives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2+ years of experience acting as a Scrum Master for software development or technical teams.
- Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), or equivalent Agile certification required.
- Agile Tools: Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Zoho Sprint, Jira, Confluence, Linear, or Azure DevOps.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with strong conflict-resolution abilities.
- Problem-Solving: Strong organizational skills with a knack for identifying efficiency bottlenecks and facilitating team-led solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with additional Agile frameworks (Kanban, SAFe, LeSS).
- Technical background or foundational understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
