1. Drafting and Design
- Creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings of landscapes, buildings, and structural elements using AutoCAD.
- Translating architectural and landscaping concepts into technical drawings.
- Preparing site plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings for construction or landscaping projects.
2. Collaboration
- Working closely with architects, engineers, landscape designers, and project managers to understand design requirements.
- Incorporating client feedback and suggestions into design plans.
- Collaborating with engineers to ensure drawings are feasible and align with on-site requirements.
3. Visualization and Presentation
- Developing presentation drawings and renderings to showcase designs to clients.
- Creating 3D models and simulations for better visualization of the project.
4. Technical Calculations and Documentation
- Ensuring accuracy in dimensions, materials, and technical specifications.
- Preparing schedules, cost estimations, and material take-offs based on the design.
- Maintaining and updating design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
5. On-Site Coordination
- Providing on-site support by clarifying design details and resolving discrepancies between drawings and actual construction.
- Modifying drawings as needed based on site conditions and project changes.
6. Innovative Solutions
- Incorporating sustainable and innovative elements into designs, such as green roofs, rainwater harvesting, and eco-friendly landscaping.
- Using advanced tools and plugins for enhanced design efficiency and creativity.
