Staff Nurse – Job Description
Organization: Raigad Hospital and Research Centre
Experience: 1–3 Years
Qualification: GNM /ANM/ B.Sc. Nursing with valid Nursing Council Registration
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care and monitor patients' vital signs.
- Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during procedures, examinations, and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, medication charts, and patient documentation.
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and biomedical waste protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, attendants, doctors, and healthcare staff.
- Ensure proper shift handover and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Maintain nursing equipment, medicines, and consumables in the assigned area.
- Work in rotational shifts and comply with hospital policies and SOPs.
